Colemanite, with the chemical formula Ca₂B₆O₁₁·5H₂O, is a mineral named after the American businessman Coleman. It was first discovered in Turkey and, due to its prismatic crystal structure, is classified as a borate. Its crystallization system is monoclinic, and it is known as a glass polishing material. Colemanite has no magnetic properties and has a sedimentary origin.

The primary component of this mineral is boron oxide, along with other elements and compounds such as silica, alumina, calcium, magnesium, manganese, and certain volatile substances.
